The Arts at the Barns Presentation Series is presented by Fringe Theatre Adventures (FTA) as a partnership program that supports local theatre companies in achieving their artistic and financial goals by providing a venue, an audience base, and shared marketing and administrative resources.

FTA strives to provide a vibrant year-round home in the ATB Financial Arts Barns to give artists the opportunity to take creative chances and present theatre arts that entertain and challenge audiences.

Sprouts returns for our 15th Anniversary Year Festival with a fresh crop of three brand new short plays for kids and their families. Local playwrights from diverse cultural backgrounds will share their newest works in these staged readings.

Spend the morning in Old Strathcona, then join us in the Westbury Theatre and Lobby to enjoy storytelling, music, art and theatre – for kids of all ages.

General Admission: $7.50 | Children under 3 free

Event Series

FTA is proud to introduce the new Event Series into the 2015/2016 Arts at The Barns Presentation Series. This series will bring exciting special events to the facility ranging from comedy performances and live music to themed events and much more.

Professional Development Series

FTA is excited to offer a Professional Development Series comprised of workshops conducted by theatre professionals in the performing arts industry. In these workshops participants will have the opportunity to develop and enhance new skills, interact with theatre industry artists, and explore a new area of focus in performing arts.

The workshops are open to anyone with an interest in theatre right up to the most experienced of artists or theatre producers. Please stay tuned for exciting workshops coming to the Professional Development Series.
