How to Fringe

SpacemanThis year the Fringe will host over 500 artists who will bring you more than 1,000 performances. With so many shows to choose from, where does one begin?

Here are some pointers to help you get started:

  1. FESTIVAL COMMANDMENTS
    When in doubt, ask!
Fringe staff and volunteers are happy to answer your questions.
Look for us or visit one of our 3 Fringe Newsstands . [map]

    Arrive early.
All shows begin on time and once a performance has started, we cannot admit latecomers. Sorry, no exceptions.

    Everyone needs a ticket »
to enter a Fringe venue (including babies).
All ticket sales are final and there are no refunds or exchanges unless a show is cancelled or the schedule changes due to some unforeseen circumstances.

Turn off cell phones and pagers
    prior to each performance.
Cameras and other recording devices are not permitted.

No animals allowed into the theatre(s) (unless it’s a service dog).

    Show your appreciation.
Performers work hard, entertaining you in the hot sun and the pouring rain because they love the Fringe. Please be generous.
