The CRF is an amount applied to each ticket to support the partial recovery of expenditures, rentals and maintenance associated with the infrastructure of the Fringe Festival and the TransAlta Arts Barns, the Festival’s primary venue.

How do I get my tickets?
When buying online OR over the phone you can pick up your purchased tickets:

Frequent Fringer & Double Fringer passes [sorry, sold out]
The Frequent Fringer and Double Fringer are [non-transferable] discount passes.
The Frequent Fringer Pass [$100] gives one person one ticket to any 10 performances during the Fringe Festival.
The Double Fringer Pass [$200] allows a maximum of two people two tickets to any 10 performances, or one ticket to any 20 performances, or any combination of the two to a maximum of 20 tickets.
All Festival passes must be redeemed at Festival Box Offices.
No Festival passes can be used to redeem tickets at BYOV doors.
Bring Your Own Venue ticketing
- Tickets to BYOV performances are sold through our Central Box Office or any Festival Satellite Box Office location , online or by phone [ticket hotline: 780-409-1910]. [map]
- A BYOV has the option to sell any part of their ticket inventory at their venue’s front of house, starting one hour before show time. As such, tickets may no longer be available at our Festival Box Office locations.
- Please be aware that it MAY be possible to purchase rush tickets at the door of the BYOV.
- No Festival passes can be used to redeem tickets at the door of BYOVs.

Tickets for the 2011 Fringe Theatre Festival are only available through Festival Box Offices.

- Tickets will be available up to the start of the performance for those last-minute decision makers. Please ensure you have enough time to travel to the venue before the performance begins and the doors close. There is no admittance or refunds for latecomers.
- For your convenience, there are dedicated "Pick-Up" windows at the TransAlta Arts Barns Central Box Office for quick pick-up of previously purchased tickets.
Latecomers
We at the Fringe are sticklers for punctuality. With over 1,400 performances happening during the 11-day period, we need to be sure everything starts on time!
Patrons who arrive after the performance has begun will not be admitted under any circumstances. The makeshift nature of many of our venues and the intimate environment of the shows make latecomers extremely disruptive to the performance.
We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes early to avoid disappointment. Take travel time into consideration.
Once again ... we will not let you enter a venue once a performance has begun and if you leave the venue during the performance, you will not be allowed to re-enter.
Refunds
Refunds are ONLY ISSUED by the Festival if there are cancellations or changes to the schedule of a performance. Such refunds are handled at the Central Festival Box Office, located in the lobby of the TransAlta Arts Barns. Since the money generated from ticket sales is transferred directly to the artists, the Festival is not authorized to offer refunds for any other reason.
